MEMBERSHIP TYPES.



Membership of the Club is open only to persons above twenty one years of age holding graduate degree of an Indian University or its equivalent, of reputable character and conduct. Exceptional tennis players may be admitted as Members after waiving the condition for graduate degree.

There are twelve classes of Members, namely,

CLASSIFICATION OF MEMBERSHIP.

 

(A) Tennis-playing Category

  • Members: They are full-fledged tennis playing members with voting rights. 

  • Life Members: A member is allowed to upgrade to Life Member after attaining a specified age and tenure as a member

  • Temporary Members: A short-term membership for players on a brief sojourn in Trivandrum and desirous of using the Club facilities.

  • Service Members: Exclusively for serving commissioned defense personnel posted in Trivandrum.

  • Student Members: Open to students above 16 years of age who are studying in Trivandrum, only for playing tennis.

  • Morning Members: Open to tennis enthusiasts for playing on designated court during morning hours.

(B) Non-Playing Category

  • Associate Members: Non-playing full-fledged members with all rights except voting rights.

  • Senior Associate Members: An Associate member is allowed to upgrade to Senior Associate Member after attaining a specified age and tenure as a member.

  • Corporate Members: Open to private or public limited companies, who can nominate two its senior executives to enjoy all rights allowed to an Associate member. Duration of corporate membership is limited to 25 years. A nominee with a sound tennis playing standard can also use the tennis courts upon special approval.

  • Family members: Spouses and unmarried daughters of members

  • Spouse members: Spouse of a deceased member can continue to use the Club facilities.

  • Honorary members: Persons whose membership will be an honour to the Club.
