One of the finest places to play Billiards in Trivandrum

The Billiards room has one table for Billiards/Snooker/Russian Fleece and is open on all days from 6.30 PM and additionally from 10.30 AM on Sundays and holidays. A marker is available to facilitate the play.

Charges: Rs.30/- per game for members, and Rs. 30/- for guests. Cues are supplied by the Club for those who do not have their own.

One game shall be counted as follows.

Billiards : 100 points or half an hour whichever is earlier

Snooker : One frame or half an hour whichever is earlier.

Russian Fleece or any other game : Thirty minutes when two persons are playing, 45 minutes for three and one hour when more than three persons are playing.

Coaching is arranged for beginners at a fee of Rs 100/ per half-hour in addition to the normal playing charges.

BRIDGE

Indulge in some serious Bridge

Bridge is played at the Club on Tuesdays and Fridays, from 6.30 PM onwards. Playing cards, score sheets and bidding boxes are provided. Daily playing charge for the game is currently Rs 20/ per player.

A bridge library gives access to a decent collection of books and magazines, most of them are donated by Rajagopal Sarma.

Weekly tournaments are held every Sunday starting 4pm. A monthly tournament is held on the last Sunday of the month. TTC has also been host to the annual Kerala Open Championships regularly during September/October.

The Club organizes periodical Bridge lessons to groups of beginners/novices/intermediaries in conjunction with the Trivandrum District Bridge Association.

RUMMY

Play the all season card game

Card room is open from 6.30 PM to 11.00 PM on all days and additionally from 10.30 AM to 3.00 PM on Sundays and public holidays. Table money applicable is Rs 40/- per player per session for regular rummy and Rs 30/- per player per game for knockout format.

The stake for regular rummy is limited to Rs 60 scoot/120 middle/240 full, and each player is required to exchange cash of minimum Rs 1000 for playing coins before commencement. Stake for knockout format is Rs 300 per head.
